During my education as an historian, I have been captured by the events of the Cossaks and unconsciously my life has followed their tracks, first in the Russian land and then crossing the Urals to venture on Siberia.
Curious traveller by nature, I have explored the old Soviet Union, being a witness of its continuous evolution, until its recent history.  I have always collected testimonies and interviews during my long stays in this fascinating  land: old idealists, prostitutes, children attracted by the sparkling of the west and new managers have been my masters in the passionate story of their lives.
Now, for a lot of years, ever since I have met my husband, I have become the interpreter, the friend as well as the confident of some Siberian shamans who, during their mission of faith, have found in me a depositary of their memories. That's how my road goes on...
